Ongoing Research

Linda's scientific research is focused on the potential use of mealworms to solve several world problems. Linda maintains a large mealworm farm, which supplies both mealworms and frass fertilizer for her experiments. Linda is currently studying the mealworm's ability to complete its life cycle on a hybrid diet of polystyrene and wheat bran bedding. If this experiment is successful, Linda hopes to study the impact of a polystyrene diet on mealworm composition and frass output.
